Things You Need to Know

At Retro-Reads, we want to give our customers the most enjoyable shopping experience, one that will keep them coming back to our store time and time again. That’s why we believe that our store policies should be fair, clear and transparent. Below you’ll find our simple policies. Condition of Products

As with all things that are second hand or used they become worn over time.  The items we sell are 'preloved', as a result they will have signs of wear and tear.


We do our best to show accurate images so that you can decide if you are satisfied with the condition before you buy.

Wear and tear can include crumpled pages, tears and creases.  Some items have been used and therefore will have handwriting in them.  The signature pages, if used, sometimes have gems inside so its a good thing!


We ship products all over the world normally using UK Royal Mail.

We aim to ship within 24 hours of order unless its a weekend when we will post on the next working day.

We use a variety of packaging to try to keep costs to a minimum but at the same time protect the products.  We try to reuse where we can so you might find a recycled box from something else.

Shipping should automatically calculate for multiple items, but if you want a bulk order please get in touch and we can look at options available to optimise costs for you.

Some countries such as Canada have unique restrictions on shipping weight and we abide by these.  If in doubt please get in touch to check.

We also like stamps, so watch out for some nice surprises on your might want to keep those too but we don't charge extra for them!


Payment can be made by PayPal or Wix secure payment. You don't need a PayPal account to pay via this method, follow the instructions on screen and you can pay with a credit card if you wish.

When checking out postage and packing will be added depending on the weight of the items.  Some items are offered P&P free and this will be shown on checkout.

Payment will be needed in full for all items before shipping.

Not Satisfied?

If you are not satisfied please get in touch.  We want you to enjoy your purchase and would rather put something right than lose your custom or have poor reviews.  

We are real people that try to provide a high quality service so give us the opportunity to correct something if you are not satisfied.

On occasions we may ask you to return something if you are not happy. This may be at your cost, this will allow us to issue your refund on receipt.

Please get in touch within 5 days of receipt so we can resolve the query.
